Day 1 discussion about the sketch of project

AUTOMATIC FOOD FEEDER

I'm Thiyagarajan Yadav From Tenkasi studying in 9th standard in Hilton matric higher secondary school. I'm interested in electronics.

The name of my project is AUTOMATIC FOOD FEEDER. I have thought of doing this project because old aged people who are in bed rest need other’s help for taking their food, with the help of my project they no need to depend on others for taking the food. I have got this idea because in my house every others will go to work, so there will be no one for taking care of them. So for that reason I have thought of doing this.

I was eagerly waiting for my first class. In the class I have interacted with Binu sir. We have discussed about the designing part of the project in the class. Sir also gave me some tasks to complete for the day; the tasks are, to create the sketch of the project with accurate measurements and to make a list of components required. So I have spent a lot of time in making the sketch, I have thought that imagination is easier than sketching it, but it is not like that. But finally I have made a sketch. Then while coming to measuring part I have measured the correct height for all people by adjusting the height of my chair and measured it with scale. In between these work I have also completed the tests given for me from school. So for completing all the work I have worked until late night.

Day 16 finalized program and constructions

 Today I have completed the project and adjusted the height by making some corrections in the program. I have made it correctly also the spoon went into the bowl and came up correctly. I felt very happy after finishing my project. Then I have recorded a working video of automatic food feeder and sent it to Binu sir. Sir said good comments and told me to paint the arms. So I'm asking suggestions to my sister for choosing the colours. I think I can complete it by tomorrow.

Day 2 discussion about the components

  Discussion about the components Today we have discussed about the components required for the project. I have thought of using powerful servo motor for lifting the arm with food and also added in the components list. We have finalized the list of the components needed by checking the list with sir. Sir gave me some ideas for the components. Today’s task given for me is to research about the bibox tern. So I’m researching about the bibox tern and seeing the tutorial videos available at youtube and I have installed the bisoft app which is used for programming the bibox tern and also learnt the programming. The new things I have learnt today are the bibox tern and bisoft programming. The bisoft programming was very easy because we no need to learn any programming language for programming in it, we have to just drag and drop our logic like a flowchart in it.
