Day 12 Connections of components
Today before the class starts, I have gone to my school lab. I;m very much excited to go to school after long leave and also the thought of doing this project in school also made me happy. The principal sir and correspondent sir wished me to get the first prize. Then
I have got into the lab and started making correction in arm like adding holes
for the servo motor. The lab incharge mam also helped me and gave some ideas. Today I have also tried programming for
the automatic food feeder in bisoft app. While working many doubts came in my
mind, I will rectify it by asking the doubt to sir.
In the today’s class we have discussed about the connections
and programming for my project Automatic Food Feeder. I have asked MG996r servo
motor which is powerful than a normal MG90s servo motor. The bigger servo motors needs an external 5 volt power supply which can be got from a power adapter. Sir
told how to give the power supply for the servo motor. Sir told to connect the
servo motor in the bread board (a board where we can connect all positive
supply in one line and negative in another one line).
According to the sir’s instructions I have connected the
positive and negative wires on the bread board and connected the signal wire of
the servo motor to the servo extender (servo extender is used to connect the
servo motor and the bibox tern’s jack port). I have found that the servo was
not rotating while connecting the external power supply, I have also checked by changing terminals. Sir told that he will
speak to the Research and Development team and tell what to do next.
During the today’s class I have asked some doubts to Sir,
first is, while programming in the Bisoft app we can only include two servo
motors in it, but in my project I am using three servo motor, the second doubt is
while connecting the power supply in the bread board the servo motor MG996r was
not working but while connecting directly into the servo extender it is
working. These are doubts I have asked to sir and sir told that he will rectify
it tomorrow.
Today I have learnt the connections for my project.
