Day 39 completing final report

 Today I have made a final report with all the details about the project. I have researched on competing products and made a list of top products and also placed my project in the list with a valid reason. and I have done user analysis by asking some common questions to them. I have asked these questions after explaining my product. I have asked the questions to a teacher, a priest, a shopkeeper, a engineering student and a common person. Day 35 document of details about components and circuit

 Today I have made a document of details of my project's required components. I have also made the 3D designs of the robotic arms and a hollow frame which covers the arms. Then I have made a circuit diagram of my project automatic food feeder. Day 34

 Today I have made the list of components needed for the second stage of my project. I have researched about the components like which suits for my project and how much power it needs to run. Now let's see the explanation for the components. Micro Controller: The controller used in the Bibox tern was a 32 bit controller. A 32-bit micro controller can theoretically handle numbers reaching 2^32. They have 32-bit arithmetic logic units, registers, and bus width. In general, this means that a 32-bit can handle quadruple the amount of data, making it technically more data efficient.  Next version of 32 bit processor was 64 bit processor, we can simply say the difference as 32 bit is for normal work use and 64 bit is heavy work user like app developing and higher graphics works. ...

Day 32 Started Second stage

After a long gap, Today I had a class with Binu sir for the second stage of my project. sir told me how the second stage will be and what are all the tasks I have to do during these classes. Sir told that here after there will not be daily classes; if I have any doubts regarding my project then there will be a class. Today sir gave me a task that is to make a list of components required for the projects within 3 days. I'm researching on the components and finding the components which suits for my project.

Day 25

Today Binu sir called me and told me about the second stage of my project that is to make the automatic food feeder as a good product to be marketed. Now I have made my project with cardboard, so sir told that we can make this automatic food feeder as a robotic hand in the second stage. Then sir asked whether I’m willing or not, I am interested but I have some program in between the mentoring classes so I have said it to sir and sir told me to type a reply message with name, when I will be free and what are all the issues I have in attending the class. I have sent reply as I am interested to attend the mentoring classes and also typed what are all the issues I have. I have sent it to sir, I think sir will give me some updates about it tomorrow.

Day 24

 Today sir sent me a message that is the voting process in the social media will be ended today, I have received this message yesterday night itself. So I have stared sharing to my friends and to school. In the morning I have shared the link to my friends in the class, class teacher also allowed me to share this link to friends. then I have asked my father to send it to his family and friends group. They all supported me well, I should thank everyone who voted my idea. Again Thank you all my dear friends for supporting me and my idea in the competition.

Day 23

Today I have sent the video to sir in the morning. Then I have asked sir what to do next. Day 22

 Today I have recorded the video of explaining the working of my project Automatic food feeder. And I have found that while the servo motor is rotating the arms was not steady so for that I have made added a base below the arm and connected it with the servo motor with a long screw but that also not worked properly then I have removed the base and screwed the end of arm with the servo motor and fixed it with glue after that it the arm stood somewhat steady comparing to the first vibration. I have thought of asking some ideas to sir regarding this tomorrow

Day 21

 Today I have not done anything much, I have took a paper and wrote what I am going to explain with the ppt. Today I have also got prepared for the making video and tried to record the video but I was not able to record it because I had some lag while explaining, then my sister told me to write what I'm going to speak in the video. I'm preparing some notes and hope I can record my video nicely without any lags.

Day 20 preparing for finals

Today I have texted sir that I had finished all the works given to me and sir told me to record a video of explaining the working of the project. I am preparing to explain and record the video. And I have also got prepared explaining project with powerpoint presentation. Today I have done only simple works and hope I will record and send a video of explaining.

Day 19 Started next works

 Today I have fixed the arms and servo motor and sticked them together. Then I have checked with the program again, there is now issues. After sometime I have found one issue that is the part in which I have attached the servo motor didn't stick correctly, that is a small problem, so I have rectified it and checked whether there is any other problems in it and found that everything was correct. So today I have completed the construction work fully.

Day 18 Completed painting

 Completed painting Today I have completed the painting work and applied varnish over it for making the paint to be not removed while water or any substance spill and placed it for drying. Before that I have disassembled the arms for painting, so I have thought of fixing the arms and servo motors again, but the paint took more time to dry. So I think I can complete the work by tomorrow.

Day 17 Painting work of project

Painting the project Today I have started painting the project. I have gone to shop and bought colours and brushes for painting. I asked my sister for some ideas for the structure of the painting and she gave me some sample designs. I have chosen one design and started painting it. In the meanwhile I have gone to the carpenter and gave the base of the project which i have made with cardboard and requested him to make the base in wood. He said ok and asked me to come and get it in evening. After that I have come to my house and continued the painting work. the painting looked so nice, but it is very tough to paint the patterns continuously and correctly. Then I have went to the carpenter and asked the base but he didn’t complete it. Also he asked me to wait and get it. Then he had started working on it and he also asked the servo motor for fixing it correctly in the wooden base. Day 16 finalized program and constructions

 Today I have completed the project and adjusted the height by making some corrections in the program. I have made it correctly also the spoon went into the bowl and came up correctly. I felt very happy after finishing my project. Then I have recorded a working video of automatic food feeder and sent it to Binu sir. Sir said good comments and told me to paint the arms. So I'm asking suggestions to my sister for choosing the colours. I think I can complete it by tomorrow.

Day 15 Completing the project

 Completing the project Yesterday I have completed the programming part. Today I have fixed all the servo motor and arms together and connected the servo motors to the Bibox tern and made my project Automatic food feeder completely. I have started fixing it in the morning. While fixing the spoon in the arm, the arm turned downwards because of weight. Then I have changed the metal spoon to plastic spoon, and then it stood straight. Next I have fixed two arms together and for balancing the arms I have attached a box at the bottom and added some weight in the box for balancing it. I have made the automatic food feeder completely and the only thing to complete is to make the arm to go into the bowl correctly. So I’m checking it by changing the delay of the program.

Review on using bibox tern

 Review after using Bibox Tern kit Hi, I’m Thiyagarajan yadav from Tamilnadu. This is a review about the Bibox tern kit. First of all I’m very excited after getting the Bibox tern. It looks like a small car with ports and display. It has two mini-geared motor which is attached to the tern kit. We can remove the wheels by unscrewing when we want and again it can be attached to the tern easily. Anyone can use this tern kit also we no need to learn any programming language to program the Bibox tern; we have to install the app called Bisoft for programming this tern kit. In this app we have select the components needed, connect it in the tern and just drag and drop your logic like a flowchart. The Bibox tern kit has 4 ports for connecting input and output elements, 1 for connecting seven-segment display, M1 and M2 ports for connecting motors, a power on/off switch, motor on/off switch, a reset and erase button. Day 14 Building the project

 Building the project Today I have fixed the arms and servo motor and made the project as a working one. I have changed the delay timing in the programming for finding the correct angle. And after many tries I have got the correct angle. Then I have programmed the program in the bisoft app and uploaded it in the bibox tern. I have checked whether the arms are working correctly or not. I have found one problem that is as time goes on, the angle of servo motor is slightly changing. So I have added an IF condition in the program and added a loop and gave output values and timings. The “IF” condition slightly changes the angle of the arm to its correct position every 2 minutes. So today there is no class, because today is the day given for me to complete the project. I have asked one doubt to sir that is the changing in the angle of arm time to time. Day 13 Programming part of project

Programming part of project   In the today's class we have discussed about the programming of my project automatic food feeder. Today we have directly connected servo motor in the servo extender because yesterday while connecting the external power supply the servo motor wasn't working. After connecting the servo, we have programmed some simple programs for finding it's rotating directions and found that the output value of 0 to 45 degree makes the servo rotate clockwise and 45 to 90 degree makes the servo motor rotate anti clockwise and for 180 degree it stops rotating.  Today sir gave me a task, that is to program the bibox tern with the correct rotation angle and timing of servo motor. Sir told to check it also by attaching the arm to the servo motor. I have attached the horn with servo motor and fixed the arm in the servo motor. Day 12 Connections of components

 Connections of components Today before the class starts, I have gone to my school lab. I;m very much excited to go to school after long leave and also the thought of doing this project in school also made me happy. The principal sir and correspondent sir wished me to get the first prize. Then I have got into the lab and started making correction in arm like adding holes for the servo motor. The lab incharge mam also helped me and gave some ideas. Today I have also tried programming for the automatic food feeder in bisoft app. While working many doubts came in my mind, I will rectify it by asking the doubt to sir. Day 11 Suggestions for project

Suggestions for project   In the today’s class I have interacted with Rajesh sir, Sir came for class for giving some suggestions for blog and video. Sir told to add a description of the project in the blog and to add some points regarding what I have learnt in class. Sir gave good comments for the blog. After hearing the comments I felt very happy because I have learnt to write the blog during this mentoring class only, the first comment was given by sir and also it is a good comment so I felt very much excited. Today, before the class started, I have made the arms with the material received from bibox. I have marked the measurement in the cardboard and cut it according to the measurements marked. I have fixed every part using glue. The school lab incharge mam called me and asked me to come to school next day.
